How does water move through a plant?
In January, our first graders had their first scientific experiment.
The students were thrilled to observe that putting the celery stalks overnight into the water mixed with food color made the color of celery stalks change.
Our young scientists learnt that water moves up in plants through xylem and then spreads all over the plant. Now, they want to repeat the experiment at home and share their knowledge with the parents.
